How to get better job opportunities ? Jobs, Naukri, placement.
Dear All Job seekers,
To get more opportunities follow the instructions given below, this are well tested procedures to increase chances of getting more jobs:
1. Prepare resume with a covering letter. Your resume should be very well presented & prepared. Always remember your resume is shortlisted not you. Your resume is something which represent you in your absence.
2. Register your resume at all job websites you know, atleast ( at Naukri.com, timesjobs.com & monster.com).
3. Remember make same Login ID & Password for all Job sites. ( It will make your mind clear and easier)
4. While registering at all job websites always write key skills relevant to the field you are looking out job. For e.g. If you are looking for a job in a software company as a team lead. write:: " Team leader, Manager, Java, C++, SAP, ERP, SAP certified or Java certified"
5. Once you complete your registeration you start applying jobs.
Above 5 steps are very common which is being implement by most of the job seekers. But Following steps do increase your chances of getting a job relative to other job seekers.
6. Update your resume twice a day, once in morning & once in evening or night. (Update doesnt mean to add something to your resume but to edit & save it daily). If you are doing so, your chances of getting job increase drastically.
7. While applying job never feel that this job is for a higher experienced person or for a lower experienced person. Just keep applying all job come across you. Always remember HR personals do keep resume of candidates which could be useful for them for further requirement.
8. Always remember that the way you search your job on internet, in the same way HR or employer do search candidate on internet. So make your approach in that way.
9. Whenever you get a job openings, may be not relevant to your experience and field. Do send your updated resume to that email ID. May be not now, but for future requirement HR person may use your resume. Always remember that person working in HR department do also switch his or her jobs. So keep applying & sending resume.
10. Never forget to followup for the same. Add all HR email ID or email id of employers you get in to your email ID.
11. Do communicate with HR or employers who inform you about the opening, they may guide you for some surprise openings at their end or somewhere they knew.
12. Frequently visit the career sections of Public Sector Undertakings websites. Some times good opportunities missed from us.
13. On every Tuesday, Wednesday read job opportunities section of leading new papers i.e. Times of India, The Hindu, Hindustan times etc. You will find so many HR email ID there. You may add their email ID & send your resume.
This all are very basic tips which we do miss. But truely speaking if you do follow it, I am sure you will land up with one of your dream jobs.
ADVICE:- A fair advice to you all, for most of the jobs employer wants that candidate must have enough competent in communication skills & computer skills. So improve both of this gradually.
ENGLISH communication is very important. You must improve it. Do not feel shy in speaking or trying. Always remember that no body comes in this world with a degree or diploma. Its individual endeavours which make a man into a gentleman.
Never feel deepresed. Start believing your self. Be confident. And make others happy.
